 Karla P. RuschAttorney | Director (828) 262-8284 Karla Rusch has practiced law in North Carolina since 1993. She received a B.S. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from NYU School of Law. After graduating from law school, Ms. Rusch moved to Boone to take a job at Legal Services of the Blue Ridge, where she spent six years gaining experience in civil litigation, particularly in the areas of family law, housing, consumer law and public benefits. Subsequently, she founded the Appalachian Community Law Center and worked briefly for the Watauga County Department of Social Services before accepting a full-time job at Appalachian State University in 2002. |
